Krisztus Jézus, mindenek szolgája, te nem ragaszkodtál a negedet megillető helyhez, hanem szeretetből önmagadat adtad egészen az utolsó leheletedig. És általad az Isten megmutatta, hogy a szeretet erősebb a halálnál. Vezess ki minket a szorongásainkból az emberek szolgálatának örömébe, akiket ránk bízol, hogy az emberi család éjszakáiban a te világosságod ragyogjon mindenek felett.

Christ Jesus, servant of all, you did not cling to the place that was yours by right, but you gave yourself for love right through to your last breath. And through you, God has shown that that love is stronger than death. Bring us our of our anxieties into the joy of serving the people you entrust to us, so that in the nights of the human family your light may shine above all.
